Poem on Nigeria

 Oh! My Fatherland, I pledged to be faithful, loyal & honest.

These I have achieved above average despite circumstances.

Why watch me treated as a slave on your soil.

Why am I not valued by those steering your wheels.

I am like Leah Sharibu before insurgency.

What shall happen if my faithfulness is faced with bandit's AK47.

Or my loyalty now dishonest before endless kidnapping & incessant school abductions.

I know...I know you weep than I do.

Even more than your other seeds beyond your shores.

But who has the DUNAMIS to present my case to the Almighty.

Shall I ever be REDEEMED from these ruthless leaders.

I hope soon, to become JEHOVAH'S WITNESS in this ASSEMBLY OF GOD.

So help me God!
